Traveling in the Winter Makes Life Easier

Winter is a great time to see how the other half lives, so to speak. We come from a very warm climate, so snow and temperatures below 40 degrees can be a welcome change. People that live in the North often dream of warmer climates and not shoveling snow.

Ski resorts in Utah, Colorado and Montana are very busy this time of the year. Places like New Mexico are less thought of when it comes to winter fun, but offer similar experiences as the Northern states, such as skiing and snow boarding.

Many "Snow Birds" head south when the weather gets cold. These are usually full time RVer's who don't want to spend the cold months in a camper up north. Popular spots are located in Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas just to name a few. The mild weather makes it pleasant to be in an RV and it gives full timers an excuse to visit friends they made on last years trip.
