We've found that the better prepared we are, the more enjoyable the journey turns out to be. Turns out there are so many options, getting there can definitely be part of the fun. We go by motorhome mainly, but we've invested in a Pleasureway Van, so we have the option of staying in a campground or a more traditional setting (hotel, condo, or villa for example).

We love having choices,when it comes to vacationing. The US is an open door to adventure. Exploring as much of America is our passion and we are glad to share our experiences with you.

There are so many places to choose from, Where do you start? I guess that depends on what kind of experience you're looking for. For instance, my wife and I love the water, but hate sand, so we look for places with streams and lakes. We live in a very flat area (you can't get flatter than South Louisiana), so Mountains are very appealing to us.

It's amazing how many places there are to see and how many things there are to do that don't neccessarily jump out at you when researching a vacation spot. Taking the time to have a closer look at an area can really make for an unique experience.

We always choose a few places to check out, then go to http://www.travelguidesfree.com to get a free travel guide from that state. It's a great time saver and really gives you a feel for the location.

We had a plan when I retired (from 31yrs. at UPS), we would tour America and see what this country had to offer. So we packed up our Pleasureway motorhome and set out for adventure.
