Great Spring and Fall Destinations
Spring and Fall are great seasons to plan a vacation. Destinations are less crowded and temperatures are mild. Children are in school, so going to say Disney World is very enjoyable without the heat and long lines.
Many travelers take trips in the fall to see the changing of the leaves, but we enjoy
Boston
in spring as well as fall. Cherry blossoms are something to see in areas like Virginia and Pennsylvania. April and May are great times to make your way to
Gettysburg
and
Washington DC.
Las Vegas
is an adventure not to be missed. We prefer to visit in the cooler months of September/October or April/May. It makes the trip much more pleasant when you can spend time outdoor sight seeing without worrying about dehydrating or suffering from heat exhaustion.
While I'm on the subject of heat, another great place to visit this time of year are the
Texas
and
New Mexico
regions.
Fall and Spring are good times to make your way to Orlando. This traditional summer destination is fantastic when it's cooler. Shorter lines at the amusement parks and great vacation deals are other reasons to put
Disney World
, Universal and Sea World on your list of things to do when the temperature dips.
You want to give the climate much consideration before choosing a destination.

The scenery driving along the highway traveling to Tennesee this time of year is incredible. The colorful array of foliage is a must see. Gatinlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Chattanooga are some of the places we've enjoyed visiting, but there is a special place in our hearts for
Nashville.
We've made many trips to the Gaylord Opryland Hotel and had some great times touring the Grand Ole Opry. My wife loves the shopping. Outlet malls are everywhere and very close by.
