The Sound of Nashville

The Country Music Capital of the World, Nashville Tennessee is one of our favorite places to vacation. Saturated with history and great country music, "The Music City" provides it's visitors with a down home experience.

The most beautiful and relaxing hotel we've ever stayed in has got to be the Gaylord Opryland Hotel .We could make a vacation out of just going there. The waterfalls and meticulously landscaped Atrium are a breath of fresh air.

The Cascade lounge located in the Atrium rotates slowly 360 degrees as you sip cocktails and enjoy the scenery. There are thousands of plants and flowers to gaze upon as you stroll the winding sidewalks.

Take a boat ride in the lazy river that winds through the hotel or just do some shopping in one of the many boutiques. There are so many picturesque spots, make sure to bring a camera.

Fine as well as casual dining is available in house. There are many fine restaurants to choose from. The Old Hickory Steakhouse Restaurant is our favorite.

It's definitely worth the extra cash to have a room with a balcony. It's great for sipping your coffee on and it's also a great seat for the nightly fountain light show. People come from all over Nashville to see this performance. Colorful Laser lights dance among the revolving sprays from the fountain to the sounds of music. It's really exciting to watch.
